When the alarm goes off, you approach the Parat-case, pull the release and throw the case with the line out of the window.

The rescue harness remains in the room. When you put the harness around your waist, you are secured BEFORE you step out of the window.

Step out of the window and lower yourself safely to the ground holding the rope hanging out of the window with a light grip. The pulley's friction brake provides a safe descending speed.

Having safely reached the ground, you exit the harness and pull it up for the next person to be rescued. Parat Rescue line can be used by several persons consecutively.
